Why I created Meyva

When I was trying to breastfeed my newborn and underweight baby, I struggled with having a low milk supply. A midwife advised me to try a warm compresses before expressing, and it made a real difference. I could feel a faster let-down and I could see more milk being expressed from the breast. But it also meant being tied to the house, juggling hot flannels and microwaves just to feed my baby.

That’s when I had the idea for a heated bra, something that could bring warmth and comfort, but also give mums their freedom back.

Since then, my own journey has evolved. I’m no longer breastfeeding, but I still reach for Meyva whenever my breasts feel tender around my period. What started as a solution for new mums has become something bigger, a way to care for women’s breasts through every stage of life.
